I aim to generate actionable insights on production, processing, and marketing of these spices, leveraging the Spices Board of India's agro-technical guidance and merchandising support. By introducing innovations from various streams of engineering technology, I seek to enhance the efficiency, productivity, and sustainability of cardamom and turmeric cultivation, processing, and marketing. Ultimately, my research aims to contribute to the economic growth and development of North East India, particularly Meghalaya, by promoting sustainable agricultural practices, environmental conservation, and interdisciplinary research collaborations.
