Period of appointment: The appointment is from 22nd July 2026 to 11th December 2026 (Purely on a temporary basis).

The selected candidate will be paid a consolidated salary of Rs.65,000/- per month. No other emoluments, medical reimbursement or allowances are applicable. No pensions/gratuity etc. is applicable. Free Hostel accommodation on a shared basis will be provided if required.

How to apply: -

1. Interested candidates need to fill in the required data in the attached application form. The duty filled application form must be submitted in soft copy along with the scanned copies of government issued id proof, mark sheets, certificates and other related documents, published paper (if any), etc. to support the information furnished in your application.
2. The duly filled application form and scan copy of all documents (one single pdf) should be sent to email id: hod.ma@nitm.ac.in. The subject of the email should be “Application for Guest Faculty in Mathematics-Autumn 2026”. The last date of receipt of the application form via email is 9th July 2026 (5pm).  Applications received after the due date will not be considered.
3. An incomplete form shall not be considered for shortlisting. The authority reserves the right to impose additional criteria for shortlisting the candidates for the interview and of accepting/rejecting any or all the applications without assigning any reasons thereof.
4. The interview will be conducted in online mode tentatively on 15th July 2026 at 10 AM via google meet. The link for google meet will be provided to the shortlisted candidates.
5. Only the shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear the interview.
6. The applicants need to ensure arrangement of good internet connectivity during the interview and the institute will not be responsible for any interruption of interview because of the internet connectivity/technical glitch from the candidate’s side, and no further rescheduling of interview will be done.
7. Candidates must write the correct and valid email id in their application forms as all the correspondence will be through this email id only.
8. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
9. Candidate must be ready to join on 22nd July 2026, if selected.
