Proposed Date, Time & Venue of Walk-in-Interview: 11-12-2024 (10:00 A.M. Onwards, NIT Meghalaya, Bijni Complex, Laitumkhrah, Shillong – 793003)

Period of appointment: The position is purely temporary and for 11 months w.e.f. date of appointment with a possibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance and requirement of the Institute (Tentatively from the 1ST week of January 2025).

[1 Male for the boys’ hostel gym / gent’s gymnasium, 1 Female for the girls’ hostel gym / ladies gymnasium]

Fitness Coach / Gym Instructor

  1. Passed 10+2 Examination.
  2. Diploma in fitness training or Gym Instructor from any recognized Institute with minimum 02 years of experience in Govt. registered gymnasium or Institutes or similar organizations (Body building background for the men’s Gym Instructor is preferred).

The selected candidate may be paid an honorarium of ₹30,000/- per month and/or as per the institute norms. No other emoluments, medical reimbursement, allowances are applicable. No pensions/gratuity etc. is application.

Terms & Conditions: -

  1. The candidates must be citizens of India.
  2. Age Limit: The candidate shall not be above 40 years as on 11TH December 2024.
  3. Degrees / Diplomas as referred to above are those which have been awarded by a recognized University / Institution / Board.
  4. The candidate must bring all relevant original documents for the Walk-in-Interview on 11-12-2024.
  5. No TA/DA and accommodation is permitted for attending the interview.
  6. Selection will be based on the interview performance of the candidates.
  7. If selected, shared accommodation in hostels may be provided to the candidates subject to availability.
  8. NOC issued by the present employer (Govt/PSU employees) to be submitted during the interview.
  9. Institute reserves the right to reject any or all candidates without assigning any reason thereafter and to re-advertise the posts if no suitable candidates are found. Decision from the Institutes side is final in the appointment.
  10. Any dispute with this process will be subjected to court / having jurisdiction over Shillong.
