Alumni Induction Event is a ceremony which is held to celebrate the transformation from full time student students to Alumnus. This event is generally held near the end of the semester for outgoing students. Students are given opportunity to share their experience about the period of study they spent in institutes.
NIT Meghalaya Alumni Association for the first time in its history celebrated Alumni Induction Event on 3rd April,2019. It started with lamp lighting from Director Prof. B.B Biswal and Dean (SW) Dr. A. Banerjee. Both of them delivered few words for the outgoing students. Secretary of existing executive committee Mr.Pratikanta Mishra briefed about few of their recent plans. E-brochure contacting contact details & few memories of the outgoing students were unveiled. Would be alumnus were presented with memento. Finally all joined for high tea.
