All the members and students, present in the meeting, discussed about the importance of formation of an Alumni Association at NIT Meghalaya. Agenda and subsequent resolutions are as mentioned below:

All members agreed upon to adopt the name of the association as “National Institute of Technology Meghalaya Alumni Association” and in short “NITMAA”. |

Fund raising through membership, tribe, etc |
Rs. 750.00 as membership and 100$ fee towards joining NITMAA. The amount will be deducted from caution deposit those who are yet to settle and those who got their fund back will need to pay. As of now we don’t have the bank account for Alumni, so we need to open bank account for this. |

Plan for annual activities. |
It is the job of the President who will conduct online discussion with the executive committee and will let the institute authority know about it. |

Data base for all the passed out students and regular monitoring |
It has already started and the Dean SW office is doing the work and will update it. |
