Title: “6G Standardization: Critical Data Transmission (Remote location data) during Natural Calamity for North-eastern Region in India for Vehicular Autonomy”.

Name of the Principal Investigator (PI) : Dr. Prabir Kumar Saha, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC).

Name of the Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) : Dr. Shubhankar Majumdar, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC).

Duration of the project :  Until the end of the project duration, tentatively April, 2028.

Monthly emoluments will be @ ₹58,000/- p.m. + 8% H.R.A. The fellowship is available until the end of the project.

Candidates with a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related disciplines are desirable.

Or

Candidates with their thesis submitted / to be submitted may also apply. Strong publication history is desirable.

  1. Candidates possessing the requisite qualifications and experience should apply in the attached format. The application deadline is May 23rd, 2025, till 05:00 P.M.
  2. A soft–copy of the duly filled–up application form, age proof certificate, 10th, 12th, highest qualification–degree certificates, and mark sheets must be sent (in a single merged PDF format) via e–mail to Dr. Prabir Kumar Saha (prabir.saha@nitm.ac.in) with a cc to Dr. Shubhankar Majumdar (shub@nitm.ac.in). The subject of the e–mail should be “Application for Research Associate Position (TTDF Project) in the Department of ECE”.
  3. The shortlisted candidates will be intimated for the interview / examination.
  4. Mere possession of the minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit and need of the project. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear in the interview, and no other communication will be entertained. The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof.
  5. The short–listed candidates for interviews will be intimated only through e–mails. No TA / DA shall be paid to candidates for attending the interview and / or joining the position.
