Proposed Date, Time & Venue of Walk-in-Interview: 14-02-2025 (01:00 P.M. Onwards, NIT Meghalaya, Permanent Campus, Saitsohpen, Sohra – 793108) [SAC Office, Administrative Block]

Period of appointment: The position is purely temporary and for 11 months w.e.f. date of appointment with a possibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance and requirement of the Institute (with immediate effect).

The selected candidate may be paid an honorarium of ₹20,000/- per month and/or as per the institute norms. No other emoluments, medical reimbursement, allowances are applicable. No pensions / gratuity etc. is application.

Terms & Conditions: -

1. The candidates must be citizens of India.
2. Age Limit: The candidate shall not be above 40 years as on 14^th February 2025.
3. Degrees / Diplomas as referred to above are those which have been awarded by a recognized University / Institution / Board.
4. The candidate must bring all relevant original documents for the Walk-in-Interview on 14-02-2025.
5. No TA/DA and accommodation is permitted for attending the interview.
6. Selection will be based on the interview performance of the candidates.
7. If selected, shared accommodation in hostels may be provided to the candidates subject to availability.
8. NOC issued by the present employer (Govt/PSU employees) to be submitted during the interview.
9. Institute reserves the right to reject any or all candidates without assigning any reason thereafter and to re-advertise the posts if no suitable candidates are found. Decision from the Institutes side is final in the appointment.
10. Candidates will not have any claim for a regular appointment in the Institute against this temporary appointment.
11. Any dispute with this process will be subjected to court / having jurisdiction over Shillong.
