International Student Club

Objectives of the Club:

  • To support the academic, social, and personal integration of international students.
  • To celebrate cultural diversity through events, workshops, and festivals.
  • To provide a platform for international and Indian students to engage in meaningful dialogue and exchange.
  • To represent the interests of international students and assist them in adapting to life at NIT Meghalaya.

Responsibilities of Club Members:

  1. Orientation & Mentorship: Members will assist international students in the admission process, campus orientation, and local acclimatization.
  2. Event Organization: Plan and conduct cultural exchange events, awareness drives, and international festivals.
  3. Support Services: Offer guidance related to academics, healthcare, visa regulations, housing and web matters.
  4. Communication Channel: Serve as a liaison between the international students and the administration to address concerns and improve student services.
  5. Promotion of Inclusivity: Work actively to promote understanding and respect among diverse cultural groups on campus.
